At just 21 years old, Angie has faced a challenge far beyond her years. Since December of 2024, she has had pneumonia three times, which as a result, collapsed her lung. Then the unthinkable happened: a mass in her lung. A carcinoid tumor of her right lung. She has had to undergo two bronchoscopies and a robotic right bilobectomy dissection, which resulted in partial removal of her right lung.

While the surgery was successful, the road to recovery is long. Right now, Angie is unable to work, which makes keeping up with everyday bills and overwhelming medical expenses extremely difficult. At her age, she should be focusing on building her future, not fighting for her health or worrying about her finances.
