My name is Angelica Vargas, and I am the sole organizer and intended recipient of this fundraiser. I’m raising funds to continue my direct work supporting the undocumented Latin community in the Los Angeles area. All donations will be used by me personally and responsibly to sustain this ongoing advocacy.

Here is a breakdown of how the funds will be spent:

•Gas and Transportation Costs: I drive across Southern California to check on street vendors, respond to ICE sightings, support families facing harassment, and deliver food or supplies to those in need. These efforts require constant travel, and fuel prices are high.

•Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs: My car is essential to my work. Routine maintenance, oil changes, tire replacement, and unexpected repairs are necessary to stay safe and mobile while on the road.

• Emergency Funds: A portion will be saved for protection while documenting injustice or supporting community members.

•Food and Supply Drives: I occasionally organize or contribute to supply drops and food drives for struggling families. These donations help purchase groceries, hygiene kits, or gift cards for those in crisis.

•Content Creation and Outreach Tools: To keep reaching donors and raising awareness, I’ll use part of the funds for phone/internet costs, and equipment to document and share my work more effectively.

I connect with donors through my TikTok account (@aaangievargas), where I’ve built a community of over 235,000 followers who support immigrant rights. Many of them have requested this fundraiser to help keep me on the ground and able to respond when no one else can. I will continue to provide updates on how the funds are used to ensure full transparency and accountability.

As many of you know, I've been on the ground since June of 2025. The work does not stop, alerts come at all hours, and I am determined to keep helping my community.
