Support Angel's kidney transplant
Spende geschützt
Hello, thanks for taking the time to read our GoFundMe; my name is Ben Coronado, I'm Angel Canale’s brother-in-law. I'm writing this message in hopes that you’ll be able to support Angel, my sister, and their four children in this unfortunate journey.
A few months ago, Angel started feeling sick and in pain after the holiday season. We couldn’t figure it out, and for a couple of days, we thought it might be covid, which was scary even to consider because of his Type II Diabetes that he’s managed for many years. His pain was unbearable, so we took Angel to the hospital. After a few days of being admitted, we got the results, kidney failure. His kidneys are functioning at 12%.
Legacy Hospital has asked us to raise $15,000 towards testing, organ evaluation/assessment, to be added to the kidney transplant list and to help with his post-surgery recovery expenses.
That’s in addition to my sister and Angel already having paid over $10,000 in medical bills and expenses. We’ve set the goal of $20,000 for additional costs and fundraising fees.
Angel has had a lot of doctor visits, appointments with specialists and lots of blood work done. He has been on top of taking care of himself, taking all the medications doctors have given him, and following dietary guidelines, his nutritionist has taught him. Angel has been focused and has maintained a positive attitude and faith throughout his journey.
Unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago, Angel started feeling ill, in pain and fatigued. These are symptoms his doctor has been warning us about.
Angel is a loving husband, a playful father, a silly brother and a thoughtful friend. Angel deserves more than he knows. In raising these funds, Angel will be eligible to be added to the Kidney transplant list and a chance to keep being the great human and family man he is. We are reaching out to you …friends, family and community to help us reach our goal. Please know that whatever you donate, we are thankful.
