As many of you know my wife, Angel, has been struggling with health issues the last few months. She has suffered with Ulcerative Colitis since 2011 and we received the best news back in June that she was in full remission.

Unfortunately, in July everything changed. Her health quickly declined and the last few weeks have been the worst for her. We have been struggling to make ends meet on an already tight budget. The financial strain has added to her worry.

On a positive note, today she was officially signed up as the first patient in the world for a new breakthrough medication. Her doctor is confident in this medication, however, he did warn us that Angel will get worse before she gets better. The next 2 months will be the most difficult and the most important.

The money raised will help pay her portion of rent for this coming month. We have just this small rough patch to get through and we will be on the right path to regaining some normalcy both financially and health wise.
