My best friend, Rashanda Angel Millsap, lovingly known by many as Angel, is just 34 years old and has been bravely battling Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma since the diagnosis in November 2018. Her name couldn’t be more fitting because she is truly an angel walking this earth. Through countless challenges, she has remained one of the most energetic, loving, selfless, and God-fearing people I know. She pours herself into the lives of her friends and family, ALWAYS putting others before herself. Always at the forefront ready willing and able to give despite the challenges she faces. She is truly one of a kind and the world is lucky to have her.

Angel, is also the proud mother of an incredible 11-year-old son., Isaiah. Despite watching his mom fight this battle for most of his young life, he has continued to thrive—remaining an A-student and a strong all-around athlete. His strength, determination, and positive spirit are a direct reflection of the love and guidance he receives from his mom. He needs her healthy, strong, and here with him to celebrate his achievements, cheer him on from the sidelines, and guide him through all the milestones ahead.

Angels faith remains her anchor. She holds tightly to her favorite verse:

“Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10

Now, she has an opportunity to continue her healing journey at the Hippocrates Wellness Campus, a place dedicated to restoring the body through natural therapies, nutrition, and expert care. A 30-day stay is $2,000 per week, and while this will be a life-changing step forward, the financial burden is overwhelming.

My goal is to raise enough to cover:

• The 30-day healing stay at Hippocrates

• Her mortgage and household bills during this time, so she can focus completely on healing without financial worry

I know God is ALWAYS in control and at the forefront of her healing, but I also believe He uses people—like the experts at Hippocrates, and kind-hearted souls like you—to make miracles possible.
