Help Us Bring Angel Home
My brother, Angel, was brought to the United States when he was just three years old. This country is the only home he’s ever known.
When he became old enough to apply for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), the program was already being dismantled by the Trump administration. He was left without protection — not by choice, but by circumstance.
Recently, Angel was arrested over a minor incident — something many documented individuals would likely walk away from without serious consequences. But because of his immigration status, he was taken to an ICE detention facility.
Angel is currently awaiting his court date and his green card application is already in progress. We’re fighting to make sure he can stay in the U.S., where he belongs. Unfortunately, legal representation is expensive, and this process could take months.
We are asking for donations to help pay for:
An immigration attorney to represent Angel in court
A possible bond, so he can be released while his case is pending
And if, despite our efforts, he is deported — funds will go toward helping him rebuild his life in a country he hasn’t seen in 19 years, a place he has no memory of.
Had this happened just 11 months ago, Angel would likely have been released on bond and awaiting trial from home. But today’s political climate has made that impossible.
Angel is not a threat — he’s a kind, hard-working young man with a bright future. He runs marathons to raise money for local schools and cities. He was studying to become an electrical engineer. Despite every challenge he’s faced without documentation, Angel has always tried to better himself and his community.
We’re simply asking for help to bring him home — to give him the chance to continue building the life he’s worked so hard for.
If you can, please donate and share Angel’s story. Every share, every dollar, every act of kindness brings us one step closer to reuniting our family.
