It’s with a heavy heart that I share an update on Angel’s health. Since being diagnosed with Tumoral Calcinosis—a rare condition causing calcium deposits in her joints—Angel has faced constant pain and new bone growth on her right knee. At just eight years old, she now struggles to walk without a walker or wheelchair. Recently, Angel was also diagnosed with Sensory Ataxia, a balance disorder caused by a loss of proprioception, making it even harder for her to move around safely. She has had to withdraw from school for the rest of the year and is currently in the hospital as of March 16, 2026.
A few words and update from Angel’s Mom: Since the age of four, she has dealt with Tumoral Calcinosis and a genetic gene mutation disorder. Earlier this month, Angel woke up unable to walk and was admitted to Levine Children’s Hospital. After returning home, her symptoms worsened, and she developed a high fever, leading to another hospital stay. She has undergone a spinal tap and MRI, and will need ongoing physical and occupational therapy. With all the therapies and appointments, her mom and dad will need to take time off work to care for her and support her recovery.
Angel’s family is facing potential financial strain, as they focus on her health. Donations will help cover her medical expenses, therapy, and essential equipment like her walker and wheelchair. The support will also help her parents while they are unable to work. If you can’t donate, please keep Angel in your prayers and share her story to help us reach more people. If you are able to give, thank you from the bottom of our hearts—may God bless you tenfold for your kindness and support.
