Support Angel's Battle with TGA
Donation protected
My name is Angel Ramirez, and I was born on November 14, 1979, a "blue baby" with Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA)—a severe congenital heart defect. My life began with immense challenges, as my heart circulated oxygen-poor blood, giving my skin a bluish tint. At just 11 years old, I underwent a critical cardiopulmonary bypass procedure, a milestone that extended my life far beyond the expectations for someone with my condition. Many with TGA don’t live past 30, but here I am at 45, still fighting.
However, my journey is becoming more difficult. My condition has worsened, leaving me unable to work. I am now waiting to be put on a heart and liver transplant list, holding on to hope for a second chance at life. If my story moves you, I humbly ask for your support. Your kindness and any donations would mean so much to me and help ease the weight of this battle. Thank you for hearing my story and for your generosity.
