Support Angelo's Recovery After Third Heart Surgery

Please help Angelo after his third heart surgery.

On behalf of Angelo and his family, this fundraiser aims to respectfully ask for everyone’s financial assistance in any amount to help with his medical costs.

Angelo was born with a heart murmur. Before he turned two months old, he was rushed to the Emergency Room and admitted initially for RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus). During that stay, he was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis (a narrowing of the aortic valve which provides blood to the whole body).

The gravity was such that he eventually had to undergo his first aortic valve surgery at a very young age in 2002 to repair the valve. He was saved…for now.

As he grew into a young boy, the Aortic Stenosis re-occurred because his body had physically outgrown the initial aortic valve repair, and he had to undergo a second surgery in 2017 to repair the aortic valve again…this time via a method which made use of a “Pig Tissue Valve.” Tragedy was averted once more.

A few weeks back, Angelo started getting tired easily and having breathing issues. He was rushed to the ER once more and it was diagnosed that the last aortic valve repair he had is now degraded and “constricting” his blood flow. So for the THIRD time, he had to undergo this life-saving surgery and it was decided that a Mechanical Valve would be used. He was able to get the much-needed surgery last October 1, 2024, and thankfully is now recovering in the hospital.

Unfortunately, his family is in dire need of finances to cover the costs of his medical procedure and continued treatment and medicines.
