Hello, my name is Angelo,

Anyone who knows me knows I’m not one to ask for help, and I'm typically the one on the other end of this situation doing what I can for others.

My father lives in the Philippines and has been sick for the past 6 months. He finally went into the hospital where they located a tumor on his lungs that they confirmed is stage 4 lung cancer. My dad is a fighter and plans to start chemo or whatever treatment is best suited for his case as soon as possible, but these treatments to give him the best shot and quality of life are costly. I haven’t seen my dad in 12 years, and have hoops to get thru to even get back home to see him, as that’s his greatest wish, along with the expenses of even getting to the Philippines. I just want to make it home to see him.

Medical care in our home country is entirely different than in the States. Insurance doesn’t really exist, and all medical costs are required upfront before they will treat patients. The financial burden has fallen on my siblings and me, and while we are doing all we can, we also have families and responsibilities to provide for as well.

I'm reaching outside of my comfort zone in hopes to spread awareness and ask for prayers and any help you can offer towards alleviating this journey with my dad's fight, and to help get me home. I’m a firm believer that God will provide, so any and all prayers, donations, and love are appreciated!!

thank you to those that have reached out and supported with prayers, love and donations. Unfortunately God called my father home on 7/12, and we are all thankful for no more pain but trying to now navigate the burden of final expenses alongside grief. All donations moving forward will be used towards cremation and final expenses that are a huge burden while trying to navigate this new way of life. Thank you all for your continued support and love during this incredibly difficult transition in my life.
