Update:
Angelina completed her six weeks of radiation, her skin graphs and cosmetic surgeries.
A lot of things have happened since this began. The family is together and Angelina was baptized. The journey will still be long, but with all of your love, prayers and support the journey has been a little easier.
A meal train was set up initially when Angelina had back to back surgeries. That was super helpful.
Currently, she has regular ongoing appointments and scans to monitor her health.
Angelina’s full speed ahead with the kids and Ryan doing all the things that a wife and mother would do.
The Family is thriving with their newfound threefold cord with the Father and his son our savior.
This has been a blessing and has brought some peace to the family.
Thank you for all of your donations and continued support.
My name is Sherry. I’ll get right to it. My daughter-in-law recently found out she has cancer. She is the mother of 2 young children. She needs your help. We need any help this platform can provide. She is in her 30s. It was devastating for her, and I believe she’s still processing it. Although cancer is always uncertain and very frightening, this particular cancer is sarcoma. Sarcoma is a very rare cancer, and the type of sarcoma is myofibrous sarcoma. Out of all cancers, sarcoma is 2% of them. It is also a cancer that has many forms and subcategories.
She does have some insurance, which is a blessing, but the insurance only covers so much. She begins her daily radiation treatments for the next six weeks. She will have tests done every three months for the next five years. The radiation treatments can cause much fatigue and scarring. On one of her recent appointments, the doctors described all the “what could happen” and it really scared her and was overwhelming. You would think being a young person would be a good thing, but unfortunately, the younger you are with this type of cancer, it’s actually worse in some cases.
She currently is without a permanent home base, and other family circumstances that truly would bring anyone to their knees.
She is strong and beautiful and kind. She’s a great cook and a great mom to her two young ones. She is a hard worker.
I am in awe of her. I hope that through GoFundMe, this will bring her some relief.
I pray that whoever sees this page will do whatever they can. If the story even just touches your heart, please say a prayer. I hope to bring her some true relief monetarily, which in turn will bring her other forms of relief. She so deserves it.
If you can donate even a small amount, that is appreciated! A specific account is set up for Angelina and the kids. It will hold and protect the funds being collected.
We only have so many chances in life to make a difference.
Thank you for stopping on this page. We truly want Angelina to survive this and stay with us for a very long time. That is our plan!
Thank you for your support, kindness, and prayers.
