Hi! My name is Angelina!

I'm a ballet dancer and high school junior with an incredible opportunity in front of me, but I need your help!

After nearly a decade of putting my all into training, I've been blessed with the chance to attend San Francisco Ballet School in their Level-7 program! While me and my family are so excited and grateful for this chance to make my dreams of professional ballet a reality, the costs associated with the program are just too high for us to pay on our own.

After seeking scholarships and pooling money as a family, we've managed to get the costs down to just $11,000! This would help me cover the remainder of my tuition, housing, meals, and purchase necessary gear.

Any support (large or small!) you can offer to reach my goal would mean the absolute world! Because ballet is more than just an art form to me. It's a core part of who I am. As anyone growing up in America as the child of immigrants can tell you, expressing yourself and feeling understood doesn't come easy. But through ballet, I found a language that doesn't need words! Learning that the stories and feelings I had inside of me could be communicated through movement opened the world to me in ways I will never stop thanking God for.

Beyond that, ballet taught me so much about discipline and perseverance. Each class and rehearsal challenges me to push past my limits, teaching me to stay focused and committed even when progress feels slow. This is a lesson I first learned watching my family make a life for us here in America, but ballet really helped it sink in!

It's hard to see all the hard work that I, my family, and all my peers and mentors put in be troubled by a lack of money, but I truly believe that together we can overcome even this obstacle! So let's make it happen!

At San Francisco Ballet School, I'll be able to further develop my skills among some of the best dancers in the country, pushing me even closer towards my dreams of being a professional ballet dancer.

Below, my mom has compiled a list of my credentials and accomplishments (thanks mom!):
