Hello my name is Angelina Liguori, I'm 58 years old and have been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer Im in treatment and multiple surgeries ,now following Radiation after Chemo and 11 cancerous lymph nodes removal with a bypass, I'm hesitant to ask for help, I've always have taken care of both my parents while working in the Coorprate world taking care of my daughters until my mom rest in peace fell ill ,I left my world to stay with her around the clock at Smilow Cancer hospital, I decided this is my calling, to help give back all the love and care my mom and family recieved from her Smilows Team. I started as a Personal care Assistance, getting licensed and enrolled to be a Nurse , I took quality care for our Elders, Community, live ins and worked in rehab rehabilitation ,I built my own business from recommendations of families of my clients ,friends, our community along the coastal line I am 100% devoted to give my clients personal and exquisite respectful care . I am an advocate weather it was elder abuse ,mismanagement of funds etc.. It is where my heart stays in caring helping and giving back unfortunately I recieved traumatizing news on my mammogram February 28th 2025 its been such a long long battle!!! with the help of my Community and friends and other Survivors warriors My Cancer Team at Smilow We can help me stand up to Cancer and focus on fighting back every single day ,that's certainly a challenge when as we all know financial monthly responsibilities have and are always upfront and center. At first i had no idea how am i to get to all my appointments ,parking,gas( I own a 2007 GMC SUV) which i use to pick up medication, groceries and i pray she gets me to my destination safely. I am determined to concentrate on fighting ❤️ and winning this war ! Thank you to Susan Koman Foundation ! I was blessed to speak with Mrs. CAITLIN, Patient Navigater, that tremendously helped me understand what my body was going through and foremost I wasn't alone!!! they have so many beautiful souls as myself ,still battling or are many years Survior Warriors!!! They offer Support groups in any stage of Cancer you are in or about ready to face I couldn't be this strong without them thank you Mrs Caitlin.
