Support Angelica to be by Xavier's Side who's critical

Hello, my name is Angelica, and I pray that you will consider helping in any way that you can so I can help save my son. I am a single mother, and I am a caregiver for my Autistic son, Xavier, who is 24 years old. We're in a nightmare that all started with a runny nose that turned into a bad cough, which then turned into pneumonia, and on October 16, 2024, he was admitted to the ICU at Rush-Copley Hospital in Aurora, IL. It was touch and go at first, but on the third day, the doctor told me Xavier was not going to make it and to be prepared to lose him. I was completely emotionally crushed. I could not understand how my son, who loves life so much, could be so sick from pneumonia. The pneumonia aggressively attacked his lungs and respiratory system along with his heart and kidneys. The team at Rush-Copley tried for two weeks to help him improve, but everything took a turn for the worse in his second week after he "extubated" himself in a delirious state. He then was transferred to Rush University Hospital in Chicago for extra care due to his damage to his body and because of the special needs/risks that come with having autism. Xavier is in critical condition without the ability to breathe on his own while he fights the pneumonia. My son's care team said it could be a 7-month recovery.

I have been staying with my son in the hospitals since October 16th. On that same day, I lost my job. I have no money to afford for me to stay with him every day at the hospital. I am having trouble affording the food so I can stay strong to oversee his care. I do not have any means of transportation because I have no car. I cannot afford a driving service to drive me two hours to come and go from the hospital in Chicago to the far western suburbs daily. It is also too expensive to stay in a nearby hotel so I can take a shower. I have no financial means to afford housing nearby so I can see my son.

Please help me so I can take care of my son.
