We are heartbroken to share that my sister, Angelica Reyes Gonzalez, 36 years old, unexpectedly passed on March 28th, 2026. This loss has left a pain in our hearts that words can’t fully describe. As we try to navigate this unimaginable grief, we are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses.

Angelica was a beautiful mother, wife, sister, and friend—truly loved by so many—and taken from us far too soon. She was not only my sister, but my best friend. She was always real with us, always honest, always telling it like it was. That was her—raw, genuine, and full of love in her own way—and it’s something we will miss for the rest of our lives.

She touched more lives than we can count. Anyone who met her felt her warmth. Her smile could light up a room, and her laugh was the kind that made everyone else laugh too. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved, even on their hardest days.

What hurts the most to think about is how much she carried, and how she kept going anyway. She raised her children and did everything she needed to do, without any parental guidance to rely on, that’s what so many of us depend on. She faced life head-on, even when it wasn’t fair, even when it was heavy. She never stopped showing up for her kids or anyone.

She gave so much of herself to others, always putting everyone else first. Even while battling her own health issues—like lupus an autoimmune disease—she continued to be there for the people she loved. She pushed through pain, through exhaustion, through everything, just to make sure her children were okay. They were her whole world.

Now, we’re left trying to understand how someone so full of life can be gone. It doesn’t feel real. It doesn’t feel fair. And the reality that she’s no longer here with us is something we’re still struggling to accept.

Now, it’s our turn to take care of her in her absence, something we never thought we would have to do so soon.
