Angelica Hendrix is a loyal wife, daughter, and friend to many. She is a renowned and highly sought after Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in working with first responders and their spouses. Angelica has devoted her life to supporting others during some of the darkest times of their lives.

In September 2024, Angelica underwent a routine medical surgery that left her with a very serious and life-impacting condition. During the surgery, she had a rare reaction to being intubated which left her with trouble swallowing, trouble eating, choking episodes, and difficulty speaking. She was able to return to work briefly, but has been unable to work at all since November 2024 due to not being able to use her voice without worsening her condition. She has seen several specialists and several different treatments but, currently, none have been successful at this time. Her medical team is now discussing more serious and long term treatments which will leave her out of work even longer. Additionally, her husband, James, has had to take extensive time off work to help care for her and accompany her to medical appointments.

This has significantly impacted the Hendrix family financially and is going to continue to impact them until a solution is discovered.
