My name is Angela, and the past few months have been the hardest of my life. My son was hospitalized and came close to losing his life, which was terrifying for our family. While I was still trying to process that, my father passed away, leaving me heartbroken and overwhelmed with grief. As if that wasn’t enough, I slipped on ice and broke several ribs. The injuries were severe—my ribs punctured my lung, causing it to collapse. I spent weeks in the hospital with a chest tube, fighting to recover while the world kept moving around me.

Now, I’m facing a mountain of bills. I can’t pay my share of my dad’s expenses, my hospital bills, or my personal bills while I’m still healing. I lost my job during this time and, despite everything, didn’t receive any support or even a kind word from my workplace. It’s been a lonely and difficult road, and I’m doing my best to stay hopeful.
