My name is Angela Calhoun. I want to share a little about what has brought me to this moment.
First and most importantly, I am saved, and my relationship with Jesus is growing deeper every day. My faith is what is carrying me through this season.
For several years I have known something wasn’t right with my health. Since 2021 I have had COVID many times and struggled with fatigue and low energy. Because I have always had a deep fear of the medical system, I tried to support my health through alternative approaches. In August 2025 I began vitamin IV therapy at Prime IV, which helped some. In December 2025, after learning about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), I began daily sessions and started to feel more energized.
Despite those efforts, I began noticing concerning changes in my body. My husband urged me to get it checked, and I am now in the middle of diagnostic testing including MRIs, PET scans, and genetic testing. While still in this phase, I have already been told that chemotherapy may be the primary option for the time I have left. Hearing those words left me overwhelmed and searching for hope.
One day while receiving an IV treatment, a nurse mentioned a place called Envita in Scottsdale, Arizona. Envita specializes in personalized treatments for late-stage cancer and focuses on supporting the immune system while targeting tumors directly. It was the first time since hearing my diagnosis that I felt a sense of hope.
Within 24 hours, unexpected doors seemed to open. I realized I have a cousin who lives only three miles from Envita and has offered me a place to stay if I travel there for treatment. The program can last 7–15 weeks and costs up to $12,000 per week, which is not covered by insurance.
I still have to qualify for treatment and raise the funds needed, but my fear and hopelessness have been replaced with faith. I truly believe God may be opening a path for healing.
If you feel led, I humbly ask for your prayers and support as I pursue this opportunity. My prayer is not only for healing, but that through this journey God will draw my family and others closer to Him.
In Christ,
Angela
