Support Angela's Journey to a Better Wheelchair

ok. so, neither of us have ever done anything like this .. but we figured why not .

Everyone knows about our accident 2 years ago . We have come so far, especially Angela, and we hope to continue to make the most out of life .

Angela really needs a better , lighter , more customized wheelchair. She came home from the hospital with a basic chair that was horrible, the seat was not meant for someone to be in it all the time so it caused a lot of hip and leg pain. Her insurance approved a new wheelchair and we gave had it over a year , but it was supposed to be much lighter (that would make it easier for me to load and unload too) it was supposed to be smaller and it really wasn't any of those things when we got it. We are thankful for it , and the seat was definitely better , but it could be so much better . Insurance won't pay for another wheelchair for quite sometime.

We have hopes of her driving soon and if the wheelchair was lighter , she'd be able to get it out of the vehicle if she were alone . She works full time , helps take care of the house and the girls. She doesn't complain. I know more independence would be amazing for her . She could have easily applied for disability but she wanted to continue to be a nurse and has been able to do that .. a new wheelchair would certainly make everything easier. I know times are hard for everyone and we understand that because it's hard for us too , especially with all our life changes the last few years. maybe if people share this something could come of it . We will just hope for a miracle and work on it as long as we have to for a positive outcome ♥️
