I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request to support my sister Angela, who is facing a difficult and overwhelming divorce. After dedicating the last 12 years as a devoted housewife, Angela is now trying to navigate this challenging time without the financial resources to secure proper legal representation.

Her husband is pursuing a divorce and, unfortunately, due to a prenuptial agreement Angela signed without fully understanding its implications, he is now attempting to leave her with little to nothing. While Angela has recently started cleaning homes to support herself, her income is not enough to cover the $5,000 retainer required to hire an attorney, nor the additional legal costs that could total $9,000.

Divorce can be complicated and especially devastating in Alaska, where the cost of living is high, and the harsh winters make financial security even more essential. Angela needs a strong advocate to ensure she receives a fair outcome.
