My name is Angela, I am currently 23, and I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. On July 1st, 2025, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with an aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

This cause my life to changed overnight. I've always been independent, working hard to support myself and taking pride in standing on my own two feet. But treatment forced me onto short-term disability, cutting my income in half while medical expenses continued to rise.

Because my cancer is aggressive, my treatment has to be just as aggressive. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy that runs 24 hours a day for 5 days straight at a time. These treatments are exhausting, both physically and emotionally, not to mention, highly expensive. But I'm giving this fight everything | have.

This diagnosis has tested me in ways I never thought possible, but I refuse to let it take away my hope, faith, or fight. I'm holding on to positivity even on the hardest days, and I know l'm not facing this battle alone.
