My name is Angela Palmer and I am trying to raise funds for rent and other household bills as well as transportation. Since the beginning of September my fiancee Shawn has had numerous trips to the ER, emergency surgery, multiple hospital stays and is now currently in Albany Med for further testing and hopefully some answers as to why this has been going on, due to all of this going on I have had to miss work, and we are in danger of being evicted. I am unable to get FMLA because it takes too long and may not get approved but the bills still need to be paid therefore I can't wait and have us end up on the streets, I have tried to get assistance from DSS only to be told they will not help me because in their eyes I am a single individual and make too much for their assistance, even though there are 3 of us in the household.
