Angela Keller has been a dedicated OR nurse and colleague with Swedish since 2015. She has served patients and the department, going above and beyond for both by giving up her time to take additional call and weekend shifts. In December 2022, Angela's health began to take a downturn that she could not ignore, and has since been diagnosed with cancer. Angela has never been a nurse to call out unnecessarily but her symptoms leading up to diagnosis have required her absence, causing a loss of all sick and vacation time already. Angela is currently awaiting a treatment plan and doing her best to work part time in the interim.

Our ask is to support Angela in her time of need, who has supported all of us in ours. Not only is she a caregiver at work, but a fierce friend, confidant, pseudo-mom to young kiddos, and devoted dog mom. She will need to take time off and can use financial support as she balances treatment, her fur baby Cora, and her bills so that she can instead focus on the road ahead.
