Support Angela and family through Heidi's healing

Hi friends,

As you may know our sweet Heidi is currently admitted to Seattle Children's Hospital and receiving medically indicated and likely life-saving treatment for disordered eating. Disordered eating is overwhelmingly common these days, especially in adolescents. Luckily, there are amazing providers and health care teams in our area treating patients with dignity and the most up-to-date science.

The road to recovery will be long with 1-2 weeks at Children's, followed by an inpatient stay at a disordered eating treatment facility, followed by outpatient care and counseling. Heidi has the support of her amazing family and community through this time, and we are confident she will heal through this process. During her treatment, her parents, Angela and Jon, will be taking unpaid time off of work to be with Heidi. They will also be ordering a lot more take out than usual for themselves and their sons, Lowen and Mylo. Angela is a rock in this community, constantly offering support to her people. She has supported hundreds of families through birth and postpartum doula support. Now is our chance to give back to her and her family.
