Support Angel through Stage 4 Ewing’s Sarcoma

Hey All!

My name is Shanaaz and I’m Angel’s mother.

Over the past month and a half Angel has been dealing with what was originally thought to be a sciatic injury. This rendered them incapable of working and looking after themselves without the assistance of others.

Unfortunately following a series of MRIs, CT, PET scans and a biopsy conducted at St Vincent’s over the past week Angel has been diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. This is a rare type of cancer with unknown causes that has shown up in Angel’s hip bone, sacral area and in their lungs. Treatment is going to be long and difficult probably extending over 12 months.

Completely unprepared for this kind of illness Angel will need financial support to aid them in rental payments, bills and medical expenses throughout this period. There is also a likelihood of a need to potentially freeze their eggs in lieu of chemotherapy affecting their fertility. 

Absolutely anything will help, please share around. Angel feels incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful support system. They’re ready to fight this cancer and kick it in the ass !
