Support Angel and Summer Brooks post-hurricane home repairs

Hello, my name is Angel Brooks and my family and I live in Clearwater Florida. During hurricane Milton, we received damage to the rear of our house in our main bedroom and it's bathroom and we had issues with our roof. This is in addition to damage to our air conditioner unit two weeks prior from hurricane Helene. I have spent the last 7 years since hurricane Irma making improvements to protect our house little by little. I have made our home a place that even our friends families have chosen to seek shelter in with us during hurricanes because of the protection it gives, and we were hosting two other families with us during this storm. But this storm did things we have never seen here.

Due to the age of our house and most likely asbestos materials, repairs to these rooms will be very expensive. We live on one full time income and Summer works on the weekend so she can take care of our children since it's just us out here. Summer and I live as modest as possible to give our kids the best we can and this extra expense is going to really be a challenge. I'm not sure how much it will be yet but it's going to be a lot. I set the goal at $10,000 because I have to set a goal and any room repair is going to be at least that, but anything will help us out greatly.
