Support Anemos: Preserving Greek Dance at Santa Barbara

We are Anemos, a group of dedicated students from UC Santa Barbara with a shared love for Greek dance and the cultural heritage it represents. This year, we have the opportunity to participate in the annual Folk Dance Festival—a chance to showcase the rich traditions of Greek dance while growing as a team and dancers.

To make this experience possible, we are reaching out for your support. Your contributions will help us cover essential costs, including:

Workshops and Training: Funding will allow us to access expert researchers and instructors who can equip us with the necessary skills and resources to accurately represent our presented shows

Live Musicians: Your support will help us hire professional musicians who specialize in traditional Greek music, covering both their performance fees and travel expenses from Greece.

Traditional Costumes: Contributions will enable us to acquire authentic costumes representing the various regions of Greece, which are essential to the accuracy and scoring of our performances.
