Support Andy's Gender-Affirming Surgery

Hello! My name is Andy and I am a nonbinary trans-masculine individual. I am raising money to help pay for my gender-affirming double mastectomy. I have known that I have wanted to get top surgery for about 5 years now, and I have decided to finally go forward with it. My planned surgery date is July 9th, 2024. But I am worried that I will not be able to pay for it on time since I am a college student and unable to get a personal loan. This surgery is extremely important to me since it will let me finally become my most authentic self, to truly be happy. I was devastated when I was rejected for a personal loan because I really wanted to be able to do this on my own. I really hope that I can raise enough money. All of these funds will pay off my debt accrued from the surgery, and I will use what I have already saved to pay for bills while I am recovering and cannot work. I have not been able to save much because of my bills and being a student means I can only work part-time during the semester. This is including my HRT which costs me an average of $90 a month because of my intense irrational fear of needles makes me have to use more expensive HRT, testosterone gel.

I started my transition by coming out to my family on November 4th, 2018, during my freshman year of high school. When I came out I did not change much about my appearance as I already dressed androgynously and had my hair as a comfortable length. I also started binding my chest at a similar time, but eventually I have had to stop binding because it started to cause me excessive pain even when I was binding correctly every single time. Fast forward, I have now been on testosterone for a little over a year now and the changes I have been going through have made me so happy.
