Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out in support of my very dear & closest friend, Andrea (Andy) Williams, who is currently going through a profoundly difficult period and needs our collective support now more than ever.

Andy is a vibrant and beloved friend to many, known for her infectious laughter, enthusiasm, and her unwavering commitment to those she loves. As an educator and designer, she pours her heart into her work, bringing joy and creativity to all her endeavors. Recently, Andy faced a devastating blow—she has been diagnosed with breast cancer & will be taking on the biggest emotional & physical fight of her life.

For the past 18 months, Andy had been tirelessly travelling back & forth between Australia & Canada caring for her mother who had also been diagnosed with cancer. Tragically, her mother lost her battle with cancer just four days before Andy was due to undergo her own life saving surgery.

Quick access to specialist care in Australia becomes extremely expensive. Andy's treatment which includes surgery will require her to take several months off work. Coupled with the costs of hospital stays, medical fees, and future treatments, the financial burden is massive. To help mitigate some of these expenses I have started this GoFundMe campaign. The goal is to alleviate some of the financial pressure Andy is enduring.

Your contribution will go towards covering hospital & medical bills, surgical expenses, medication & future treatments. Your generous contributions will allow Andy to focus on her health & recovery without the added financial stress this has brought on.
