Support Andy's Family After Unexpected Car Costs

The love of my life for the past 11 years took her car and abandoned my 2 kids & I several months ago.
She now lives 2 states / 7 hours away, so we don't see her.
Depression is just the beginning of my woes.

Since my VW broke down hitting a pothole in an intersection, I had been without my own vehicle for a year for the first time (in 25yrs) since high-school.
I was in no rush to replace it because we had a working vehicle that I didn't know was going to be disappearing shortly.
I had to wait til tax season before I was able to afford purchasing a vehicle of my own.

I was supposed to get a refund of $6,300 back from taxes, but I let their mom keep the $300 to just make it a flat $6,000..instead she took another $500, leaving me with only $5,500 towards purchasing a reliable vehicle for ourselves.

I found a nice Jeep Cherokee that I purchased for $6,100 on 3/26/26.
I hadn't registered the vehicle until today 2/11/26, but have already had to put in $2,300 of repairs before even having the vehicle in my name..which cost another $580..coming out now to basically $2,900 additionally that I did not expect.
So my $6,000 vehicle has turned into $9,000 unexpectedly.
The thing is it's still in dire need of tires, they're pretty low on the edges, so that's going to be I'm guessing another $1,000.
Totaling a whopping $10,000.
I dont have that!

I had to get a $2,500 loan just to cover the current expenses:
~New Windshield
~Coil Pack
~Spark Plugs
~Oil Change
~Headlight
~2 Front Strut Assembly
~2 Front Sway Bar Links
~2 Rear Shocks
~4 Brake Pads
~4 Brake Rotars
A bunch in labor
~Taxes
~Title
~Registration
Today I even had to take $100 from my kids to afford registering it because I am flat broke.
So now we have a great running SUV that fits our needs, but can't afford to drive it.
I would never buy out of my price range purposely, but was pushed to get something "more reliable" for the kids, which I agree they deserve to have.

I have no job;
I was the stay-at-home-parent that quit my job to take care of the kids since their births.
I work local comic-con toy show events as a vendor & sell collectibles online to cover bills myself.
Sales being a vendor has taken a large cut because I had no car for over a year to attend them, til now.
I've sold online since dial-up internet.
No help from their mother, I don't collect child support or state cash aid..nothing like that.

Because of the kids, we get approximately $3K each, each year come tax time.
I am very cautious with spending money and make that amount last us the entire year to live off of.
I know that sounds quite sad to be able to do, but I make it work.
Well that isn't the case this year with the new living situation of my relationship dissolving.
The tax money is gone & spent already, so I have nothing left to live off of..your donations would help me recoup some of that.

I don't smoke. I don't drink.
I don't order delivery, ever.
Barely eat out once a week after Sunday church with family.
Frivolous spending isn't in my nature.

If I get generous people to help donate, I promise every cent will go towards paying off the vehicle maintenance loan & recouping some of the money we need to live off of.
If by some miracle there's anything extra over what I'm seeking, I will save it towards any vehicle upkeep costs & promise I will absolutely NOT spend any of it on myself.

I know I have sent what I could a few times to people in need, when I myself didn't have the proper funds to do the such, but this is not a comparison so please if you cannot afford to help don't feel obligated.
If you can't, then don't.
I only ask if you could maybe share it so others could see or if know a more visible place to post that has higher traffic than my low friend count PLEASE HELP BY SHARING then!
If you'd like something in return, by all means please buy something from my Mercari!
I've never posted for financial help like this ever in my life, its very embarrassing to do so, but I am at my whits end.

Super gracious of Any & Every dollar I receive, I'm truly grateful for your time in reading all this for your consideration.
Thank you. -Andy
