On June 13th, Andy Quinn, a devoted husband, loving father of three, cherished brother and uncle, and a loyal friend suffered a devastating accidental fall that resulted in life-changing injuries. He sustained fractures to his C6 and C7 vertebrae, along with severe spinal cord bruising.
Andy underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his spinal cord, but his fight is far from over. Since then, he has faced numerous serious complications. Despite these tremendous challenges, Andy continues to fight with incredible strength and determination.
Today, Andy remains paralyzed from the waist down and requires breathing support through a tracheostomy. Once he is able to leave the ICU, he will be transferred to a long-term acute care facility, where he will work to strengthen his respiratory health before beginning extensive physical and occupational rehabilitation. It is our hope that, through treatment, therapy, and perseverance, he may regain some mobility and independence.
As Andy's wife and children spend every day by his bedside, they are facing overwhelming medical expenses and an uncertain financial future. This will be a long and costly recovery involving ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, follow-up procedures, and specialized equipment. In addition, Andy is unable to work, leaving his family without his income at a time when both medical and everyday living expenses continue to grow. Future modifications to their home may also be necessary to accommodate his needs when he is finally able to return home.
So many people have been touched by Andy's kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others, while never asking for anything in return. Now we're asking for your support to help ease the financial burden on Andy and his family as they focus on what matters most: his recovery.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this page and keeping Andy and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your generosity, support, and compassion during this incredibly difficult time
