Andy Carter is a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather who has always been the heart of his family. On May 5th, Andy went to the emergency room for high blood pressure, only to discover a mass in his chest that was diagnosed as Non-Hodgkin’s Large B Cell Lymphoma. This news came as a shock to everyone, especially as further testing revealed the cancer had also spread to a few spots in his bones. Andy’s journey since then has been filled with hospital stays, chemotherapy, and a recent battle with C-Diff, all while missing the comfort of home and the company of his beloved cats.

Andy is known for his love of all things tech, tinkering with his Allis-Chalmer tractor, and sharing music and laughter with his grandkids, John and Roy, and great niece Emi. He cherishes Sunday dinners with family and is a friend and helper to everyone he meets. His faith is a guiding force, and he finds strength in deep conversations about the word and in teaching others. The emotional toll of his diagnosis has been heavy, especially as Andy’s weakened immune system keeps him apart from those he loves most. The family is also facing the reality of mounting medical bills, potential home care needs, and loss of income during this difficult time.
