Dear Friends & Family Worldwide,
As many of you know my brother Andrew left the US to travel to Thailand to search out health and happiness. Andrew has been in Thailand for many months now, doing just that. Many of you have been following his new life, just as I have, through social media and chats. I am very proud of all he has accomplished since he got there. He has created a much better life for himself there, I am happy for his happiness.
However, he/we really need your help. Sometime late Friday or Saturday he was driving home on his motorcycle (scooter/vespa not quite sure) when he was involved in an accident. It sounds as if he slid off the road and into a ditch. It sounds as if he was there for quite some time when someone found him in the flooding waters that Chang Mai have been experiencing. He was taken to a hospital. He is currently being transferred to another hospital where he will undergo surgery.
His injuries include severe bruising, a broken arm, broken ribs and a punctured lung. They are more injures to be listed, but this is all we know right now. Surgeries and procedures will not happen unless we can pay up front. Some of the money has already been transferred, but this is a big cost, estimated at 1M Baht or 30K USD.
Between the flooding that is currently happening, the language barriers, time differences, and being halfway around the world, there is a lot of unknown right now. What is known is that he has a very wonderful group of friends caring for him in Thailand right now, doing everything they can to ensure he is getting the care he needs but they need us, they need money. I am very thankful.
Please give what you can and share. Our family, his friends, our friends are very thankful for your support.
As Andrew would say, BLESS!!!
I will create an exact cost breakdown and save all receipts. I'm also selling off a lot of my belonging....including crystals, gems, and jewelry....among many other things
