Support Andrew's Final Journey

I've tried numerous times to put this news down to paper, to share it with the world, and to ask for help in navigating this situation. But every time I try, it continues to be unreal.

This is my Auntie Beth, my mom Andrea, and her twin brother Andrew.

On March 25th, my mom got the call. You know the one I'm talking about. That heart-wrenching, soul-crushing, life-changing call.

The man that has been their brother, their best friend, and my mother's womb mate since the beginning of life has beaten them both in the race to heaven, where he now accompanies their sweet baby sister Carla.

My uncle was presumed dead after suffering a heart attack in his sleep during a visit with his dear friend in Denver.

Uncle Andrew was currently in the process of moving from Denver to Washington state to be closer to his other half (aka my mom).

Uncle was a man of many, MANY talents. He was a master mechanic, the FASTEST race car driver, an amazing fisherman, and a pool shark to fear!

However, he was also a man of very few resources when he left us behind. Although he did have some recent health concerns come up, this was something very unexpected for my mother, my Auntie Beth, and the rest of our family.

As of today, Andrew's sisters have been blessed with the opportunity to be in charge of handling his affairs.

Unfortunately, because this great tragedy was so unexpected, getting the funds together to take care of everything necessary, well... it's going to take a village.

I'm reaching out to friends, family, and the community to help them with the funds they will need.

Every dollar will go to these few simple places: the cost for his cremation, the cost for a modest service, and just a few small travel details in order for his beloved sister Andrea to come to Colorado and pick him up so that he can finally get home to his final resting place in Washington.
