Andrew has been battling Crohn’s disease since he was diagnosed back in 2010. It’s been a long, exhausting road—filled with ups and downs, hospital stays, and more challenges than most people ever see. Over the past few years, living anything close to a “normal” life has felt impossible.

He’s been hospitalized three times in just the last few months, and now his doctors have scheduled surgery for this Thursday. It’s something we’ve known might happen eventually, but hearing that it’s time still hit hard. While we’re hopeful this will finally bring him some relief, the reality is that recovery will take a while—he’ll be out of work for at least two months.

Between the recent hospital stays, medical expenses, and now preparing for surgery, things have gotten really tough financially. We’re doing our best to keep bills paid and stay afloat, but it’s been a struggle.
