Hello Everyone,

My name is Andrew, and I'm a 16-year-old sophomore in high school. I'm 6'6" and 190 lbs, and like my dad always said, I'm definitely growing tall! I'm the oldest of four brothers, and when I'm not playing sports or helping my parents with my siblings, I focus on my studies. I'm proud to be an A-B student, and my basketball coach is helping me develop my skills to become the best athlete I can be.

I'm reaching out to you today with a mix of excitement and hardship. I recently made my AAU basketball team, and I truly believe this opportunity will shape my future. Unfortunately, just this past weekend, our family home caught fire, and we lost absolutely everything. Thankfully, everyone got out safely, but we are now facing the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding our lives.Right now, I'm staying with a friend while my family works to find temporary housing.

Despite this devastating setback, I'm determined to pursue my basketball dreams. The monthly AAU fee is $120 for five months, the uniform is $145, and the league cost is $1,250, totaling $1,995. All of our games are on the road, within a 300-mile radius of home.

Given our current situation, I'm asking for $2,700. The additional funds will cover gas, motel, and food expenses for travel. Any support you can offer will not only help me with my basketball journey but also provide a glimmer of hope during this incredibly difficult time.
