My name is Tyler Sickles and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my friend Andrew Wasson.

Andrew was a 2005 SHS graduate and member of the 2004 Final Four football team. He currently resides in Cowden with his two daughters.

On May 6th, 2025, Andrew was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with the Philadelphia chromosome. That same day, he was admitted to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis to begin chemo, where he remained for over a month. In addition to that hospital stay, he will need to return to Barnes every 21 days for a period of 5-7 days to continue his treatments.

Donations are greatly appreciated to help offset the medical and travel expenses. This will not be a short process but can likely take anywhere from 3-5 years in total.
