Support Andrew Ortiz's Fight Against Epilepsy

Hello my name is Jessica Betancourt and I am making this go fund me account for my 9yr old baby Andrew Ortiz. He was diagnosed with epilepsy 2 years ago and has had absent seizures, sever migraines and also tonic seizures. Now we are trying to figure out why he keeps having these spells where he gets disoriented for about 20-25 min at a time. He has recently had an EEG and needs and MRI under anesthesia. The EEG showed abnormal waves. They warned me to watch closely over him due to the abnormalities shown and recent seizure activity , he is also on daily medications. I was hesitating on making this account due to not wanting to ask for help but due to my insurance denying coverage on the imaging that is needed to monitor his health I am left without a choice. I have applied for health assistance with the facilities for help and my FSA card is maxed out. Andrew is one out of my 4 children and they are my everything. I've never been put in a situation where I am needing to find assistance for his medical care while also trying to work full time. It's truly heartbreaking seeing him struggle with this on a daily.

Any donation will be put towards medical expenses and his MRI that needs to be under anesthesia as well as medications needed for further treatment etc. I would like to thank everyone that has checked on Andrew and I and have kept us in yalls prayers, I am truly grateful.
