After three and a half years studying in the Hofstra University film program, the time has finally come for me to make my senior thesis film. Since September of 2022 I have spent my time learning the intricacies of filmmaking, from screenwriting to cinematography to editing. Now it is my turn to direct. I have spent the last couple of months writing and finetuning "Jump The Gun", a short film which I will be shooting in March of 2026.

"Jump The Gun" follows the story of Marcus, a college student who has returned home to his small town after the death of his father. Caught in the tides of grief, Marcus learns that he has inherited something from his father which he never knew he owned. A handgun. Now, without any guidance from his dad, Marcus must discover what it means to be a man, and what it means to wield power.

All donations will go to a variety of important aspects for the success of this film, from locations, shooting permits, and food for cast and crew, to costuming, props, and much more.
