Emergency Update: Stage 4 Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

I officially have Stage 4 Brain Cancer.

Right now, I’m unable to work while going through aggressive treatment — radiation 5 days a week and chemotherapy every single day, with chemo expected to continue for the next year.

Because I’m young and otherwise healthy, my doctors are fighting this as hard as possible.

Just 3 days after brain surgery, I suffered 3 seizures, and my family and I were terrified of what could happen next.

Since then, though, I’ve continued to surprise my doctors with how strong my recovery and healing have been.

While I’m doing everything I can to keep fighting, the financial strain from medical treatments, daily expenses, and being unable to work has become overwhelming.

I already have over $11,000 in medical debt, and the costs continue to grow.

Any donation, prayer, or share truly means more to my family and me than words can express.

I am now preparing for brain surgery in just a few weeks due to my brain cancer. Recently, I had a seizure, and because of that, I can no longer work or drive. This has completely changed our ability to support ourselves right now.

I will be undergoing my 3rd Brain Surgery on April 14th - the surgeon will be keeping me awake during the operation so that my speech isn’t negatively affected. After surgery, I will need to go through Radiation 5x per week and Chemotherapy on a daily basis.

During this time, I will be unable to earn income, and we are already struggling to cover basic living expenses — especially rent. The stress of possibly losing our housing on top of facing brain surgery has been overwhelming.

I am asking for help not just with medical bills now, but to keep a roof over our heads while I go through surgery and recovery. Every donation, share, and prayer truly makes a difference for our family.

If you’ve already donated, please know how deeply grateful we are. If you can’t donate, sharing this means the world to us.

This is one of the hardest seasons of our lives, but your support reminds us we’re not facing it alone.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

**Previous Post & Quick Backstory**

I was originally diagnosed with Stage 3 Anaplastic Astrocytma back in February of 2019 and was deemed Cancer-Free in December of 2019 after two emergency brain surgeries, 7 heavy rounds of chemotherapy and 2 months of radiation.

I have had a Brain Cancer Recurrence which means that this surgery is extremely important because the cancer cells need to be tested to see whether it is Stage 3 or Stage 4.

The only income we have is my wife's disability she receives from the VA which is not enough to cover rent, bills and essential needs.

My wife, Rose, also does not feel comfortable leaving me alone with our 2 boys because of my history with seizures, fatigue, memory issues and inability to drive in case anything happens - she also needs to help me during my recovery which includes driving me to my appointments on a regular basis.
