Support Andrew in Mamu's Memory

Andrew loves nothing more in this world than his Shiloh Shepherd, Mamu.

After years of borrowing our pup Loki to take on runs and do fun things with, last year his job duties changed which meant less traveling and he could finally get a pup of his own.

Brian and Dana McCarthy of Starry Night Shilohs had a young dog looking for a second chance at a family and made his dreams come true.

They hit it off right away and it was clear how much she meant to him. They were always together going on runs, adventures, and playing. All the love he had for her was obvious and she blossomed into a goofy, fun loving dog.

Earlier this week Mamu landed wrong jumping out of his jeep and suffered a compound fracture to her femur. Local vets were only able to amputate so Drew made the decision to take her to Akron for surgery that would have saved her leg and give her the best chance at a full life for years to come.

Unfortunately a few hours after her surgery she went into cardiac arrest and did not make it. Drew would never ask for help and is already asking for side work to cover the veterinary bills for this major surgery. He is just lost his best friend in the world and we are hoping to lighten the financial burden for him during this trying time.
