Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are reaching out to ask for your support for Andrew Greene, a loving 38-year-old husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, and highly skilled woodworker, who recently survived a sudden and severe medical crisis.

On July 5, 2026, Andrew experienced a spontaneous dissection of his carotid artery. This rare tear in the artery wall led to the formation of a blood clot that traveled directly to his brain, causing an acute ischemic stroke at an incredibly young age. He required emergency surgery to address the blockage and stabilize his condition.

While we are incredibly grateful that he has been discharged (as of July 8) from the hospital to continue his recovery at home, the road ahead will be long and challenging. As a self-employed woodworker, Andrew's livelihood depends entirely on his physical strength, precision, and ability to perform demanding manual labor. Due to the neurological impacts of the stroke and his recent vascular surgery, he will be unable to work for the foreseeable future while he heals and undergoes rehabilitation.

In addition to the immediate loss of income, the medical bills from his emergency surgery and acute hospital stay are going to start accumulating rapidly.

We have established this fund to help ease the financial burden on Andrew and his wife, Paige, during this critical time. Your contributions will directly support:

  • Covering essential living expenses and bills while he is unable to work.
  • Out-of-pocket medical expenses such as the hospital stay/surgery, physical and occupational therapies, post-surgical follow-ups, and specialty stroke care.
  • PT and OT equipment for at-home therapy.

Andrew needs our help while he rebuilds his strength and health. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a profound difference in his recovery. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with your network or supporting their meal train: https://mealtrain.com/8lewz2

Thank you for your generosity, prayers, and support.

With gratitude,
