It is with a heavy heart that I am creating this GoFundMe to help our dear friend, Andrew Deshazo. Andrew’s loving partner, Ed Hartigan, passed away peacefully on June 22nd. Ed faced many health challenges over the years and fought them bravely with Andrew by his side. They were together for over 20 years and made many wonderful memories together alongside their beloved dogs.

In addition to being a caring partner, Andrew is a kind and caring colleague and friend. If you know Andrew, you’ve probably been on the receiving end of this kindness at some point. He is always offering a hand or going out of his way to cheer someone up. He’s generous and loves giving people random trinkets when he finds something that reminds him of you. He never expects anything in return and just genuinely enjoys making others feel happy and appreciated.

Andrew is not on social media but is grateful for anyone who has offered support to him at this time.

Andrew is sharing the expenses with Ed’s mother, who is older and on a fixed income. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly towards offsetting the funeral expenses, which are expected to be close to $10,000.
