Donate to Support Speed E Mart ( The community store)

Hello, I’m Dalite a member of the rainier beach community. I’m raising funds for a local business. That has been a part of this community since 2010. Recently two people have robbed the store in the middle of the time using a possible stolen car. They took cigarettes, e-vape, and lighters. Sadly they also destroyed the front door, damaged a water pipe, the wall, and the inside of the store was also damaged due to the broken pipe. Part if the floor and inventory are damage due to the water. The door has a temporary fix but it’s estimated for it to cost anywhere $20,000-$30,000 just for the door. The glass surround the door and gate that used when the business is closed will also need to be repaired. This local corner store has been hit hard recently within the last six month. In February Andrew Choi was also robbed at gun point. This isn’t the first time this has happened to him but, he still stays and works in our community. Many of the local people in the rainier beach community love him, and his mom who both work here. Him and his family are currently asking for $40,000 in funds to fix the door, walls, water pipes, and other expenses. Andrew is working his hardest to show up everyday and still be here for his community. He has two kids, one that’s 12 years old and another that’s 15 with his beautiful wife. It hasn’t been easy for him to continue but, he has a family support and a community. Any amount would help this local business to keep their head above water.
