Hello there! My name is Andrew Cardascia and I’m a 17-year-old Christ follower and musician. I’ve been following the Lord for a little shy of 4 years now and playing the drums for right around 6 years. In this short time pursuing God, I’ve seen Him provide for me and my family miraculously. Because He first loved me, I want to return the love by taking the next step of stewarding and honing the craft God entrusted to me. Pretty much ever since I can remember, grabbing two sticks and sitting at a drum set was a dream of mine, and six years ago my parents bought me a used electronic drum kit as an early birthday present. Since then, with much practice, my skills have grown and I’ve have been able to play regularly in the main service at a couple of different churches. Just as I’ve grown volunteering with music, my desire to expand my musical capabilities has also grown. As with any gift that is given from Him, the Father enjoys seeing that gift be used for Him to bring glory to His name. I play because he sets the beat of my life, and in worship I get to encourage the congregation in energy, excitement, and excellence to be used for God.

Over the course of my life I’ve felt called to music, specifically to the drums, and I want to take a step of faith and learn more about what God has given me to minister through music. I believe Camp Electric is an incredible opportunity that will allow me to steward my gift and passion to the glory of God, and ultimately impact the Kingdom of Heaven.
