Support Andrew Behrmann's Long Road to Recovery

Donation protected
On Saturday March 15th, the Behrmann’s family life changed in the blink of an eye.  Andrew Behrmann , son of Andréa Popielarz and Walter Behrmann, while driving a motorcycle was cut off by a driver failing to stop when making a left hand turn, causing Andrew to lay the bike causing severe bodily injury as the motorcycle engulfed in flames.  Andrew is suffering severe burns and head trauma (among other injuries) while being heavily sedated in the hospital and undergoing several procedures and surgeries.  Though his body is making great strides, there are many “unknowns”.   The road to recovery will be extremely long and of course the financial burden will be astronomical.

Andréa has devoted her life to loving other people’s children through Florida Dance Workshop, now it’s time we show our love for hers!  Andrew needs ALL THE PRAYERS he can get!

Thank you!

UPDATE 3/25
Andrew is still in need of your prayers! While he remains in critical condition in the ICU, he is surrounded by an incredible medical team that is dedicated to his care. He has undergone several skin procedures for his severe burns, and there are more treatments ahead. Despite being heavily sedated, Andrew is showing remarkable strength as he fights to breathe with the assistance of a ventilator.

Although he faces challenges—like a collapsed lung, a bruised heart, a broken shoulder, fractured ribs, and some disc injuries—his resilience is inspiring. The road to recovery may be long, but every day brings new opportunities for healing. Your prayers are having a positive impact, so please continue to send your love not only for Andrew’s recovery but also for Andréa, Walt, and their family.

This journey has its ups and downs, but the overwhelming support, encouragement, and prayers have been a beacon of hope during this time. Thank you for being there for them!

Thank You!

Update 5/16
It has been two months, eight weeks since Andrew’s accident. He is still fighting for his life in the hospital in critical condition. God is performing miracles through the doctors every day, Andrew has beat so many odds and showing how strong he is and that he wants to be alive! Part of the healing process required the doctors to amputate both of Andrew’s legs. Though this is a very difficult situation, we are hoping that with prosthetics Andrew will be able to once again walk, swim, and do a lot of the things that he loves to do.

His medical care is already in the millions of dollars range, he still has a long road to recovery in the hospital, but once he gets out and home, there will have to be ADA modifications made to the houses, prosthetics, rehab , and so much more.

Any small donation is greatly appreciated, but more importantly, Andrew and his family still need a multitude of prayers. They are working, but the more the better!

Another way to help would be to donate blood at one blood in Andrew‘s name

As always, thank you so much for all of your support, encouragement, and prayers!

Update 5/20
It is with heavy hearts that we must let you know that even though Andrew fought a valiant battle against his injuries, they were just more than any human could overcome. Our Lord has relieved him of all his pain and suffering by lifting him to heaven where he has his legs and his beautiful hair. The family thanks you all for your tremendous support. Please, continue to pray for them in this difficult time.
