Hello everyone. My name is Emily. The oldest child of the Allen family. We are not a family that normally airs our troubles but we are in it for the long haul! My little brother Andrew Allen (20 yrs old) was a fully functioning adult with a full time job and developing career as a mechanic and trying to be a young adult figuring out this crazy thing we call life. Wednesday July 23rd he had to have emergency surgery to remove 13cm of intestines due to a perforation in the wall as a result of Crohn’s disease. After the surgery they did a biopsy of the removed portion and they found Non- Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. As he travels through this journey he will be unable to work and will be traveling to and from Ann Arbor for many months and personal bills and medical bills will pile up quickly .
