In memory of Andres Perez
Meet Andres Perez, a father of 3 kids, the oldest being 18 and the youngest being 3. He was also a stepdad to three kids, the oldest being 24 and the youngest being 20. He stepped in when the oldest was just 5 years old, and the youngest was just 1 year old. That basically sums up the person and father he is. Andres was loved by so many of his family, friends, and even coworkers. He came to this country with nothing, seeking a job to earn money and provide for his family in Mexico. He was a hardworking man who loved to provide for his family, as well as looking out for people when they needed a helping hand. Even when he didn't have anything to give, he always found a way to help them and never expected anything in return. He was a great father figure to all his kids and always tried to lead them in the right direction.
Around November 26, 2024, Andres got diagnosed with cancer, but doctors didn't tell him 3 months later, when they told him he had malignant neoplasm intestinal stage 4 as well as gastric cancer. Receiving this news from the doctors, he was sad and devastated. He kept saying he didn't want to be here and would cry. But even after being diagnosed with cancer, he still wanted to work and provide for his family, no matter what; not even cancer could stop him. But around January 9, 2025, he went to the hospital to get his chemotherapy. In the process, the doctors saw that he lost a lot of weight and admitted him right away. From that day, he stayed in the hospital for the next 4 and a half days.
But unfortunately, that all changed on January 14, 2026, around 7:15 pm, when doctors announced that he was no longer here, leaving his 6 kids, wife, and all his family with this news. Before his passing, he wanted his wife to know that he was fighting and trying hard for them. His biggest dream was to see his 3-year-old son grow up, see the 2026 World Cup, and get a house here.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help out with the expenses of the funeral; all donations will go straight to the expenses and nothing else. We greatly appreciate you all for taking the time out of your day to read about the wonderful father and human being that Andres Perez was. If you decide to donate, we just want to say thank you so much for your donation. Any amount is greatly appreciated, even as little as a dollar will make an impact, but we also kindly ask that if you're unable to donate, we kindly appreciate it if you could share this with friends, family, or social media. He is and will continue to be loved by everyone, and he will be missed by all his loved ones. Rest in peace, Andres Perez.
