Support Andres' Fight Against Leukemia

Andres and Margaret Chacon have just received heartbreaking news—Andres has been diagnosed with CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia). As they begin this difficult journey, they need our support more than ever.

For those of you who know Andres, you know he radiates joy and the love of Christ. Let’s come together and show him the faithfulness of the God we serve. Please read the words below written by Andres:

"I Serve a Good God.

Last Thursday (3.13.25) I was diagnosed with CML, and as Margaret and I are weeks away from having our first child, I have never felt a fear like I did that Thursday. In the 5 days that followed, God showed me a depth and magnitude of love, peace, and joy that I never could have fathomed. If you’re reading this and going through your own battle, I cannot stress enough the power of worshipping God in the midst of the storm. As I “Let Go, and Let God” throughout the week he showed me his beautiful craftsmanship through His eyes:

    ◦    His version of love, joy, and peace is so much better than what I can attain in my own efforts

    ◦    God placed me in powerfully loving families and friend groups that have been Gods hands and feet, supporting Margaret and I in this

    ◦    CML is a hard diagnosis, but it’s a major blessing compared to the difficulties from other leukemia diagnosis

    ◦    Chemo so far hasn’t impacted my quality of life - and with His strength it won’t hinder my ability to be a loving husband and father
