Support Andre's Fight Against Brain Cancer

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request for help on behalf of my best friend Connie Pesanka's husband, Andre, who urgently needs our support. The past several years have been quite a challenge for them and now they have learned that Andre has a brain tumor. We're still in the stages of learning more about the full diagnosis and treatment plan while Andre bravely is fighting for his life. As many of you unfortunately know, a cancer diagnosis not only takes an emotional and physical toll—it also brings overwhelming financial burdens. While Andre is facing numerous unknowns, Connie is facing having to keep their household afloat with their two puppies while being overwhelmed with worry, fear, and sadness. No one should have to face this challenge alone, least of all someone as wonderful and caring as Connie!

Medical bills and treatments not fully covered by insurance

Monthly household expenses during treatment

Travel costs to and from medical appointments

Update Tuesday, 5/27/2025: Andre is heading to surgery. The tumor is larger than a golf ball and it’s been hard with the symptoms it has been causing and of course the desire to get it removed as quickly as possible!! Update Wednesday, 5/28/2025: The surgeon had a complex surgery the morning before Andre's was scheduled and ran hours longer than anticipated, so they have postponed his to Thursday this week. He has started to leak fluid from his ear. It's being tested to determine what type of fluid it is. Please keep them in your thoughts and hearts!!!
